Hanoi (VNA) – The Communist Party ofVietnam (CPV) and the Communist Party of China (CPC) exchanged experience inParty building and leading national development at a symposium on September 28.

The event was co-organised by the Ho Chi MinhNational Academy of Politics (HCMA), and the Central Party School of the CPC,both in-person and online formats.

At the symposium, Le Hoai Trung, head of the CPVCentral Committee’s Commission for External Relations and Song Tao, head of theInternational Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee, emphasised the friendship,comradeship and fraternity between the two Parties.

Both sides expressed their wish to deepencooperation and exchanges pragmatically and effectively across spheres,intensify political trust, and further advance the bilateral comprehensivestrategic cooperative partnership in a healthy, stable and sustainable manner,bringing practical interests to people of the two countries and contributing topeace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world atlarge.

Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, President ofthe HCMA and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, congratulated the CPC onachievements it has recorded over the past 100 years.

The official expressed his belief that under theleadership of the CPC led by General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee andPresident Xi Jinping, the Chinese people will reap greater achievements.

Chen Xi, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPCCentral Committee, Secretary of the CPC Central Committee’s Secretariat, headof the CPC Central Committee’s Organisation Department, and President of the Chineseschool, reviewed the development of the Chinese Party over the past century.

He stressed the view on strengthening thetraditional friendship as well as prospect of the bilateral comprehensivestrategic cooperative partnership between the two Parties and States.

On this occasion, the HCMA and the Chinese schoolsigned a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the time ahead./.

Foreign policy contributes to propelling Vietnam into new era

2024 saw Vietnam significantly expanding its diplomatic activities with numerous partners and at various important multilateral forums and mechanisms.
