Hanoi (VNA) –General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee andPresident Nguyen Phu Trong on October 11 sent a message of congratulations toMiguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez on his election as President of the Republic of Cuba.

Chairwoman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan also cableda congratulatory message to Esteban Lazo Hernandez on his election as Presidentof the Cuban Council of State.

Meanwhile, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh extended her congratulations toSalvador Valdes Mesa on his election as Vice President of the Republic of Cuba./.
