Khanh Hoa (VNA) – The 2025 Sanest-Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Cup wrapped up in Nha Trang city on June 9 morning after five days of competition, with the women’s team of Vietnam winning the trophy.

The international beach volleyball tournament, held on the beach of Phu Dong Park from June 5 to 9, featured 32 teams (16 men's and 16 women's) from six regional countries, competing under regulations set by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB).

In the women’s final, Vietnamese duo Nguyen Le Tuong Vy and Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam defeated Indonesia in three intense sets. Representing the Sanest Khanh Hoa team to compete under national colours, the pair overcame an initial set loss to claim victory on home sand.

Thailand claimed the bronze medal in the women’s category.

On the men’s side, Indonesia dominated the tournament and emerged as champions after a decisive win over Thailand in the final. Vietnam secured the third place with strong performance that left a positive impression on spectators.

The total prize pool for the tournament reached 607 million VND (nearly 24,000 USD). In addition to the main awards, the organisers also handed out special prizes, including Best Referee Team and Miss Beach Volleyball.

The event formed a key highlight of the 2025 Sea Culture and Tourism Festival in Khanh Hoa, reinforcing the province and its Nha Trang’s reputation as a premier host for national and international cultural and sporting events./.
