VietnameseTrade Counsellor in Singapore Tran Thu Quynh said the Ministry of Industry andTrade has recently worked with concerned bodies, particularly the provincialDepartments of Industry and Trade, to promote Vietnamese products ininternational markets.
Theevent presents an opportunity for Vietnamese furniture firms to seek new waysfor their products in the context that the interior industry is focusing onenvironmentally-friendly products.
LeThi Thuan, Director of the Qua Thuan Handicraft Manufacturing and TradingCompany, said this is the third time her company has attended the event.
Itis a good opportunity for her enterprise in particular and other Vietnamesefurniture producers to promote their products as well as seeking potential internationaland regional partners, she said.
The HanoiDepartment of Industry and Trade took the occasion to introduce its Hanoi GiftShow 2018, slated for October.
TheIFFS-2018, running until March 11, saw the participation of over 400 companiesfrom nations and territories worldwide.
Accordingto Singaporean Minister of Trade and Industry S. Iswaran, the global tradevalue of the wooden products and furniture sector is expected to reach 779billion USD by 2021.-VNA
