Attending the event were representatives from ASEAN member countries’ embassies, trade and press agencies, including Indonesia , Thailand , Singapore , the Philippines , Myanmar and Vietnam .
Vietnamese Ambassador to South Africa Nguyen Manh Hung said that through various cultural and sports activities, the day would help tighten the solidarity and friendship in the ASEAN family.
He expressed his hope that the traditional friendship and cooperation among ASEAN nations will be further consolidated and developed in the future./.
