Vietnam joins int’l book fair in Russia

Two Vietnamese units have joined more than 1,500 publishers from over 50 countries around the world at the 24 th International Book Fair that opened in Moscow , Russia , on Sept. 7.

ThePublication Department and the Vietnam National Corporation for theExport and Import of Books, Periodicals and Other Cultural Commoditiesbrought some 200 books about President Ho Chi Minh, General Vo NguyenGiap, Hanoi capital city’s 1000-year culture, and women, history,culture and landscapes of Vietnam to the fair.

Nguyen Ngoc Bao, Deputy Director of the Publication Department, saidthrough the event, the Vietnamese delegation wants to introduce the landand people of Vietnam to readers in Russia and other countries.

The annual event serves as a chance for publishinghouses and book distributors to share experience in publishing. Thisyear’s fair will be open to visitors until Sept. 11./.

Search efforts continue for Vietnamese fallen soldiers in Cambodia

During the 2026-2027 dry season, Teams K70, K71, K72 and K73 will continue their search and repatriation mission, striving to fulfil the target based on 185 pieces of information concerning 761 graves. Each team is expected to collect at least 100 sets of remains during each deployment.
