Vietnam joins int’l community to prevent terrorism

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the United Nations Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) held a seminar on legal frameworks to fight and prevent terrorism in the capital city of Hanoi on March 28.

Addressing at the opening ceremony, Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son confirmed Vietnam’s consistent policy of cooperating with international community concerning the need to build up global and national legal frameworks to fight and prevent terrorism.

The event outcomes have contributed to completing national legal frameworks and also strengthen international cooperation on anti-terrorism prevention measures whilst complying with UN charter and the basic principles of international law./.
