Vietnam and Laos should further strengthen cooperation in legal activities, especially in the making and verification of laws.

National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu made the suggestion while receiving a delegation from the Lao NA’s Law Committee led by its head Davone Vangvichith in Hanoi on October 11.

At the reception, Luu said that the visit is of great significance as it takes place when the two countries are celebrating the 50 th anniversary of their diplomatic ties and 35 years of the signing of the Vietnam-Lao Friendship and Cooperation Treaty.
