Hanoi (VNA) - Vietnam recorded 102 new COVID-19 cases, including 94 domestic ones, in the past six hours to 6pm on June 25, according to the Ministry of Health.
As many as 85 local cases were detected in quarantine sites or sealed off areas.
The new cases brought the national tally to 14,537, with 1,749 imported and 12,788 locally transmitted ones.
The number of new COVID-19 infections since the fourth wave of the outbreaks hit the country on April 27 amounted to 11,218.
The MoH said 5,953 patients have been given the all-clear so far, while the death toll has reached 74.
Thirteen localities have gone 14 days without new infections.
The Ministry of Finance and the managing board of the COVID-19 vaccine fund received more than 100 billion VND (4.35 million USD) from eight donors during a ceremony held on June 25.
Of note, Honda Vietnam and AEON Group of Japan donated 12 billion VND and 25 billion VND, respectively. SK Group of the Republic of Korea contributed over 23 billion VND.
As of June 25 noon, the vaccine fund had received about 7.6 trillion VND, announced Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc.
Vietnam is projected to need 150 million doses of vaccine to inoculate about 75 million people at an estimated cost of 25.2 trillion VND./.
