Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam lost0 - 2 against Thailand in the first leg of the AFF Cupsemifinals on December 23.

Both teams entered the game, held atthe National Stadium of Singapore, with confidence and made strong attempts tovie for the ball.

Chanathip Songkrasin of Thailand scored the game’s opening goal at the 14th minute andanother at the 23rd.

Despite efforts and several chances, Vietnamstill failed to score a goal into the rival’s net.

Suffering from this defeat, the teamof head coach Park Hang-seo will face many difficulties in the second leg ofthe semifinals on December 26./.
