A high-ranking delegation of the Vietnamese Defence Ministry headed by its deputy minister, Sen. Lieut. Gen Nguyen Huy Hieu paid a working visit to Luxembourg from October 21-23.
During its stay in Luxembourg , the Vietnamese delegation met with Luxembourg Defence Minister Jean-Marie Halsdorf and Chief of Staff of the Army General Gaston Reinig, during which they compared notes on measures to establish bilateral ties in national defence.
The visit is aimed at bolstering friendship and defence cooperation between the two countries while paving the way for the sides to cooperate in addressing consequences of war and other issues of mutual concerns./.
