Hanoi (VNA) – The ties between Vietnamese and Moroccan parliament agencies and exchanges between the two countries’ citizens and youths will be bolstered in the coming time.

These were reached during a visit to Morocco by a delegation of the National Assembly’s Committee for External Relations led by Vice Chairman Ngo Duc Manh visited from March 14-16.

While in Morocco, Manh paid courtesy visits to Speaker of the House of Representatives Talbi El Alami and Vice Speaker of the House of Advisors (upper house) Mohamed Ansari, and met with other high-ranking Moroccan officials.

They also shared experience in law making and supervision activities.

The two countries’ mutual support during their past struggles against colonialists and the present cause of national construction and development has served as important foundations for their traditional friendship and cooperation, they said.

The two sides agreed to make the best use of their potential for cooperation in economy, trade, investment and tourism, and people-to-people exchange while increasing mutual support at regional and international forums.

Peace protection, democracy and human rights were also touched upon at their meetings.
