Vietnam has recently been listed in the world's 10 most incredible destinations which are surprisingly cheap to visit by Canadian travel magazine The Travel, along with Laos and Indonesia.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam has recently been listed in the world's 10most incredible destinations which are surprisingly cheap to visit by Canadiantravel magazine The Travel, along with Laos and Indonesia.

It is one of the cheapest countries to visit, and among the mostunderrated, the magazine said.

Eating local dishes will only cost you a few dollars permeal, and a cup of iced coffee is less than a dollar.

Ca phe da, iced coffee, has become an indispensable part ofVietnamese daily life in recent years – with millions starting their day with acup in the morning.

A cup of the drink costs 10,000-15,000 VND (0.42-0.64 USD).

The Travel also recommended tourists to explore Vietnam bybus or train with cheap fares.

It added that if visitors don't mind slow and long-distance travel, then buses and trains around Vietnam are among the most affordable in the world, making iteasy to explore all of this beautiful country./.

Tourist train linking Phong Nha and Hue heritage sites launched

The 190-km route runs between Hue, Dong Ha, My Trach, Dong Hoi and Tho Loc stations, giving travellers access to destinations including the Complex of Hue Monuments, Quang Tri Ancient Citadel, Vinh Moc Tunnels, Hien Luong–Ben Hai historical site and Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park.

Tourism ready for National Day holiday, eyes year-end acceleration

A range of cultural and artistic activities will be held during the holiday. In Da Nang, the “Hoi An Memories” show will present its “Flag Hat” version from August 26 to September 2. Phu Quoc will host the “The Memory of Flowers” exhibition, while Thanh Hoa will organise the Sam Son Kite Festival 2026 from August 30 to September 1.
