A number of Vietnamese enterprises participated in the 38th International Tourism Show in Paris, with over 100,000 visitors from hundreds of countries and territories worldwide taking part.

The event offered Vietnamese firms a chance to seek partners and shareexperience with professional tour operators across the world.

Bertrand Sirven, a French tourist said various tourist attractions inVietnam, especially those in mountainous areas remain untouched andwill attract discovery lovers.

Sirven added that to makethese spots popular among travellers, the tourism sector should improvethe quality of services and enhance cultural, artistic and tourismactivities, which feature distinguished characteristics of Vietnamand its people.

Besides traditional tourist products, itis necessary to develop new ones that are unique to each locality, suchas adventurous and discovery tours, he said.

Othervisitors to the event suggested that Vietnam take part in moreinternational tourism fairs to promote its smokeless industry.-VNA

Hue kicks off Visit Vietnam Year 2025

With the theme “Hue - Ancient Capital, New Opportunity,” Visit Vietnam Year 2025 aims to strengthen tourism linkages between Hue and other cities and provinces nationwide, while enhancing the image, position, and brand of Vietnamese tourism in general and that of the central city in particular. The programme will feature four main seasonal activity groups representing spring, summer, autumn, and winter, encompassing over 170 national and provincial-level events.
