Meanwhile, the national women team will compete with the Democratic Republic of Korea and Hong Kong in Group C, according to the draw results announced by the Asian Football Confederation and ASIAD 17 Organising Board on August 21 in Incheon, the RoK.
There will be 29 teams, divided into eight groups, competing at the men’s football event, which will kick off on September 14, while 11 women teams in three groups will vie for a cup several days later.
Experts said the draw results are quite comfortable for both Vietnamese men and women teams to be able to go further.-VNA
