The affirmationwas made by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during a June 10 receptionfor David M. Cote who is a member of the US National Commission onFiscal Responsibility and Reform and also the chairman and CEO ofHoneywell.
The Prime Minister expressed his pleasureat the strong development in the Vietnam-US cooperation relations overthe past time.
He added that Vietnam, the USand several other countries are engaging in negotiations on theTrans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP) and called on USleaders and enterprises to back the process.
For hispart, Cote said he will convey PM Dung’s messages to his country’sleaders and hoped that Vietnam will facilitate US firms’investment and long-term business.
Honeywell which hasbeen in Vietnam since 2005, is one of the world’s leading suppliers ofaerospace products and services, turbochargers, technologies forspecialised materials and oil refinement.-VNA
