Vietnam records 982 new domestic COVID-19 infections

Vietnam logged an additional 983 new COVID-19 cases in the past seven hours to 13:00 on July 13, raising the national count to 33,648, according to the Health Ministry.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam logged an additional 983 new COVID-19 cases in the past seven hours to 13:00 on July 13, raising the national count to 33,648, according to the Health Ministry.

Besides one imported case, the remainders were domestically-transmitted infections, including 886 in Ho Chi Minh City, 29 in Long An, 27 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, 12 in Dong Thap, 11 in Ben Tre, four in Phu Yen, two each in Quang Ngai, Binh Thuan and Bac Ninh, and one each in Nam Dinh, Nghe An, Bac Giang, Hanoi, Lao Cai, Binh Phuoc and Thanh Hoa.

Of the total, 920 were detected in quarantine sites or sealed-off areas.

Among patients under treatment, 339 patients have tested negative to coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 once, 130 twice and 70 thrice.

To date, 9,331 patients have recovered from the disease and 125 died.

The country has administered more than 4.06 million doses of vaccines. Over 3.78 million people have got vaccinated, including more than 280,000 persons fully receiving two jabs./.
