Vietnam and t he Republic of Korea (RoK) will coordinate closely to further boost labour cooperation and address the related issues that arise.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and the visiting Minister of Strategy and Finance of the Republic of Korea (RoK) Bahk Jae Wan shared the view during talks in Hanoi on January 11.

Dung added that Vietnam always creates favourable conditions for the RoK enterprises to do effective and long-term business in the country .

He added that the two countries should further foster cooperation in all fields, especially in economy, trade and investment, and that two-way trade should record an impressive figure while trade balance between the two countries should be gradually achieved in the time to come.

In addition, he suggested the two countries should intensify exchanges of delegations of all levels, people-to-people activities, to tighten friendship and mutual understanding between the two countries and peoples, as well as pushing up the ongoing negotiations process of the Vietnam-RoK Free Trade Agreement.

The visiting minister said that his country wishes to further intensify cooperation with Vietnam in manufacturing, along with boosting cooperation in economy, trade and investment.

RoK always attaches great importance to relations with Vietnam and will exert every effort to continue deepening the bilateral cooperation, the guest added. -VN
