Vietnam’s trade revenue is estimated at 125.41 billion USD in the first four months of 2017, a year-on-year increase of 20.1 percent, said the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Vietnam exported 16.7 billion USD worth of goods in April, raising the total export turnover in four months to 61.3 billion USD, a year-on-year increase of 15.4 percent.
The VND/USD exchange rate in 2017 is predicted to suffer the greatest pressure from the demand of foreign currency due to the increasing trade deficit, according to the National Financial Supervisory Commission.
