Vietnam wants to learn from France ’s experience in audit planning and management, as well as in financial report appraisal, said Deputy State Auditor General Le Minh Khai.

Khai made the proposal at a working session with Senator Alain Hespel, president of the French Court of Audit’s second chamber in charge of defence and energy industry issues, in Paris on Sept. 14.

He said the two audit agencies should increase cooperation on a par with the fine relationship between Vietnam and France .

He suggested the French side send experts to Vietnam for experience sharing to help improve Vietnamese auditors’ professional skills.

Talking with a Vietnam News Agency correspondent in France on the prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field, Khai said his visit to France from Sept. 11-16 aims to increase cooperation, particularly in auditing State enterprises and training.-VNA
