Vietnam takes part in tourism expo in Canada

The Vietnamese embassy in Canada and the Hanoi-based Ky Nguyen Tourism and Trading Company are participating in the 18 th Canada Tourism Expo, which opened in the Ottawa Conference Centre on March 10.

The Vietnamese embassy in Canada and the Hanoi-based Ky NguyenTourism and Trading Company are participating in the 18 th CanadaTourism Expo, which opened in the Ottawa Conference Centre on March 10.

The two-day event saw the participation of around200 travel agencies from nearly 60 countries and territories across theworld and thousands of visitors.

Speaking at theevent, Jim Watson, Mayor of Ottawa city said the expo will provideCanadian people with latest and direct information on tours offered bytravel companies around the world.

According to theVietnamese Ambassador Le Sy Vuong Ha, the Embassy will, from now on,invite other Vietnamese travel agencies to take part in the big tourismfair to promote the country’s tourist products in Canada .

General Director of Ky Nguyen Company Pham Xuan Nhat, for his part,noted the company’s participation as part of the country’s strategy toexpand tourism to North American markets and Canada in particular.

At the event, several Canadian and internationalleading travel agencies such as Tours Hai International and VoyagesSymone also introduced to visitors their tours in Vietnam.-VNA
