Vietnam ’s Cau Treo bordergate economic zone on March 26.
The signing took place within the framework of a seminar held in Nakhon Phanom province to promote investment in Cau Treo bordergate economic zone.
Many Thai businesses expressed keen interest in investing in Ha Tinh province and Vietnam .
Also on the occasion, the chairmen of Ha Tinh and Nakhon Phanom provinces vowed to boost bilateral cooperation in education, transport, trade, services and tourism.
Economic and trade cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand has seen strong development, with two-way trade reaching 9.3 billion USD in 2011. Thailand ranks 11th among countries and territories investing in Vietnam , with 264 projects totalling 6.7 billion USD.-VNA
