Striker Vu Minh Tuan scored the only goal for Vietnam from a penalty shot in the 63rd of the match after Kyrgyzstan midfielder Baimatov touched the ball by his hand in the box.

Earlier, Vietnam made a landslides victory 4-1 over Iran on September 17.
