Vietnam – United Nations: Role model in development cooperation
Forty years is a milestone marking Vietnam’s continual efforts to become an active and responsible member of the UN. The bilateral relation has been expanded and developed remarkably.
Vietnam has recorded substantive improvement of its stature since it became a member of the United Nations (UN) four decades ago, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh affirmed in an interview posted on the Government web portal.
Vietnam and the United Nations (UN) have spared no effort to nurture their cooperative ties over the past four decades, thus achieving remarkable results, President Tran Dai Quang said in a press interview on the 40th anniversary of Vietnam’s UN membership.
