The seven-member Vietnamese team easily defeated the US rivals 5-0.
They will play Slovenia on April 8. Slovenia suffered a 0-5 loss at the hand of China the previous day.
The team event will last until April 11, while the individual event will tke place from April 13-18.-VNA
