CNN has recently released a list of the world’s best food, encouraging visitors to try when they have the opportunity to travel in 2022. The following are the Vietnamese selections.
TasteAtlas, a website dedicated to discovering fresh ingredients, traditional dishes, and authentic restaurants around the world, has recognised Vietnamese baguettes, known locally as “Banh mi”, as the 7th best street food in the world.
“Banh Mi”, a street food deeply imprinted on the minds of many Vietnamese people, has become a source of national pride. Thanks to creativity in cooking method, the simple street food is now found among high-end dishes in restaurants and even 5-star hotels.
Vietnamese banh mi, which has been ranked seventh in the world’s top 50 best street foods, is a familiar dish appealing to diners with its beautiful blend of Western and Vietnamese flavours.
