A week-long exchange between young officers of the Vietnamese People’s Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army is taking place in China to further cement the two countries’ military ties.
During the event, which started on June 2, the officers are scheduled to get involved in activities to share experience in promoting youth participation in disaster prevention, poverty reduction and sci-technology development.
The Vietnamese officers will visit several units of the Chinese army and participate in cultural and sport exchange activities.
The exchange is among practical activities that further strengthen the traditional relations between the Party, State and Army of Vietnam and China in general and the friendship and mutual understanding between the two armies in particular.-VNA
