Cho Ray, Fortis Hoan My Saigon and Hanoi-based French hospitals were among 30 regional hospitals that received 2012 Asian Hospital Management Awards.
The Vietnamese facilities were honoured for making constant improvements in their health service quality.
Professor Dr. Vu Van Dinh, President of the Vietnam Association of Intensive Care, Emergency and Toxicology, won the Lifetime Achievement Award. He is the founder of the intensive care, emergency aid and toxicology service in Vietnam .
These awards were announced at the 2012 Hospital Management Asia summit, held in Hanoi on September 14 by the Vietnamese Ministry of Health, the International Hospital Federation and the Asian International Federation.
