Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnamese President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on July 16 sent a message of condolences to his Pakistani counterpart Arif Alvi over the passing of former President Mamnoon Hussain.

Former President Mamnoon Hussain passed away at the age of 80 in Kirachi on July 14 after a prolonged illness.

He served as the 12th President of Pakistan between September 2013 and September 2018. Hussain had replaced Asif Ali Zardari and was succeeded by Arif Alvi./.
