Vietnamese students excel at physics comp

Vu Thanh Trung Namfrom Hanoi Amsterdam School, Nguyen Cong Thanh from Tran Phu School inHai Phong, and Dinh Thi Huong Thao from Nam Dinh province's Le HongPhong School all won gold medals.

The two silver medals went toNguyen Ngoc Khanh from Nghe An province's Phan Boi Chau School andNguyen Quang Nam from the Hanoi National University of Education's HighSchool for Gifted.

The MoET said this was the best result aVietnamese physics team had ever achieved at the event, helping the teamfinish third after mainland China and Chinese Taipei.-VNA

Hanoi proposes subsidies to accelerate shift to electric vehicles

Under a draft resolution currently open for public feedback by the municipal People’s Committee, residents with permanent or temporary residence registration in Hanoi for at least two consecutive years, who own petrol-powered motorbikes registered before the resolution takes effect, will be eligible for support when purchasing electric motorbikes priced at 10 million VND or more.
