Moscow (VNA) – A cultural, art and food exchange programmetitled “Vietnamese Day” was held at the Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Russia on February 16.

Addressing at the event, Chernikov Aleksandr Sergeevich,Dean of the Faculty of International Education Programme, recalled thelong-standing traditional friendship and mutual support between Russia andVietnam over the past years.

Chernikov assessed that among foreign students from76 countries studying at the university, Vietnamese have achieved manyoutstanding academic achievements, with many Olympiadawards in mathematics, physics and other subjects. Such an cultural exchange programme offers an opportunity for Russians to learn about the culture, country, and people ofVietnam.

Vietnamese Defence Attache in Russia Vuong Dac Thang affirmedthat Bauman is a famous university worldwide, many Vietnamese people whograduated from the school are currently holding important positions inresearch agencies or the government apparatus of Vietnam.

He also expressed his gratitude to the universityfor always paying attention to the study, life and activities of Vietnamesestudents during the past time, as well as creating favourable conditions for them  to organise the event.

Participants at the event immersed themselves in a rich Vietnamese cultural space with aphoto exhibition on the S-shaped country’s picturesque landscapes, folk games, dances, and traditional dishes./.

Moscow to host Vietnam Culture Festival for first time

Festival-goers will be treated to performances of Vietnamese water puppetry, enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and take part in creative cooking workshops. There will be a special art programme which features performances by artists from both countries, showcasing the sounds of traditional Vietnamese instruments.

Photo exhibition highlights Vietnam–Israel cultural ties

Running from July 11 to 24, the event is part of activities marking the 32nd anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Israel (July 12, 1993 – 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese diplomatic sector (August 28, 1945 – 2025).

The show took place at the Grand Hall of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
