Vietnamese talent shows to kick off

Talented individuals of any age can now register to compete in the TV show Vietnam 's Got Talent.

Locally known as Tim Kiem Tai Nang, the national qualifying round will take place between October 30 and November 26.

The winner of the show, which will be broadcast on VTV3 at 9pm on Sundays, will take home 400 million VND (20,000 USD).

The names of the judges and the show's host have yet to be announced.
The programme is being jointly produced by Vietnam Television and theBHD Company and is based on the British TV format conceived and owned bySimon Cowell's SYCO company, which has spawned spin-offs in 30countries.

The Got Talent franchise is one of the fastestgrowing international franchises, along with The Weakest Link, The XFactor, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, Dancing with the Stars and Idol,all of which also originated in Britain./.

Vietnam’s hiring outlook to see strong growth in Q4

Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.

Under a draft decree replacing Decree 63, authorities will have to proactively pull information from databases and records for informational or technical procedures. Applicants would no longer be required to resubmit documents, and certification or information requests could not be turned into discretionary licensing through an “ask – give” mechanism.
