On April 27, the 282 High School in Moscow, with 200 of its 340 students being Vietnamese, held a ceremony to mark the 38th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and Vietnam’s Reunification Day, which falls on April 30.
Speaking at the function, the school’s head teacher, Irina Grigorievna, congratulated the Vietnamese people on the historical anniversary.
Participants at the ceremony recalled the glorious day 38 years ago when Vietnamese people bravely fought against the Americans and achieved victory.
Vietnamese Counsellor to Russia Truong Duy Phuc thanked the school for organising the ceremony and giving the students a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s magnanimous history.-VNA
