HCM City (VNA) - By the end of2017, Viettel Post reached total turnover of 5.1 trillion VND (226 million USD)or 112.3 percent of its yearly target.

With this achievement, Viettel Post has moved forward 80positions in the list of 500 biggest enterprises in Vietnam and received theLabour Medal, Second Class.

The company now has over 1,000 post-offices and 5,000agencies even in remote areas and islands.

Customers now can place their orders, find post-offices, paybills, monitor the movement of their packages through smart phones.

This is also the first mobile customer support system inVietnam.

Viettel Post entered into the logistics industry and launchedits customer care service centre in 2017.-VNA

HCM City to use municipal budget for Metro Line No. 2 project

The Metro Line No. 2 project has an estimated investment of nearly 47.9 trillion VND (2 billion USD) and has nearly completed land clearance, at 99.8%. The NA’s Resolution 188 authorises HCM City to develop seven metro lines spanning 355 kilometres over the next decade, with preliminary total investment for the 2025-2035 phase estimated at 40.2 billion USD.
