HCM City (VNA) – Vietnamese people now can enjoy a virtual reality tour around Taiwan (China) while riding an exercise bike, using a VR headset, at California Fitness & Yoga Centres.

It is part of the programme “360 VR Experience Taiwan in One Day” initiated by the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan to promote tourism amid the COVI-19 pandemic.

The tourism promotion programme has been run by Taiwan in many countries, given that COVID-19 travel restrictions are still in place.

Chief Representative of the Tourism Bureau of Taiwan in Ho Chi Minh City Derek Chou said Taiwan has been accelerating COVID-19 vaccine rollout and reviving its tourism industry and tourism promotion overseas. The programme aims to introduce Taiwan among Vietnamese people, particularly sport lovers and adventurers./.
