The Vietnam international exhibition on consumer goods, handicrafts, farm produce and processed food (Vietpo 2012) will take place in Hanoi from April 11-15, as part of the national trade promotion programme.

Nguyen Van Bien, Vice President of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance, said in Hanoi on Mar. 19 that the event will showcase consumer goods, handicrafts, agricultural equipment, foodstuff, beverages, machinery, fashion, cosmetics, jewellery, interior decor, tourist services, advertising and trade promotion products at 500 pavilions, including 400 from domestic cooperatives and businesses.

The event will offer a chance for domestic enterprises to exchange experience and promote trade with counterparts from China, the Republic of Korea, Cambodia, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Pakistan.

As part of the event, workshops and seminars on economic exchange and export-import training, as well as field trips among the participating businesses, will also be held./.
