Mexico (VNA) – Vietnam was among the 25countries and international organisations that participated in the 18th International Meeting on Early and Preschool Education in the city ofMonterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico from October 18 – 20.

The function gathered about 1,500 representatives fromacross the world to discuss the theme on neuro-education, languages andpedagogy of sciences.

In her opening remarks, Director General of Cendi EarlyChildhood Education Centres Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez said the event wasintended to provide a platform for educators, social workers and policymakersto analyse and reflect on studies and experiences in neuro-education, languagesand pedagogy of sciences.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Mexico Nguyen Hoai Duong praisedCendi’s preschool education approaches towards poor children. He hoped thatCendi would share experience and pedagogical skills with Vietnamese educationalinstitutes for the country to apply the model.

Duong had a meeting with Secretary General of Mexico’sLabour Party (PT) Alberto Anaya and Director General of Cendi Early ChildhoodEducation Centres Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez on the sidelines of theinternational meeting.–VNA
