Vietnam sent almost 38,000 guest workers overseas in the first five months of the year, according to the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.
Vietnam sent almost 38,000 guest workers overseas in the first five months of the year, according to the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

The ministry’s Overseas Labour Management Department said Taiwan ( China ) received the largest number of Vietnamese guest workers, with 14,200 and it was followed by the Republic of Korea (RoK), with 9,183 people.

In May, the country sent nearly 8,000 workers abroad, including nearly 2,900 people to Taiwan and over 2,300 to the RoK./.
