Responding to reporters’ query on the new US Secretary of Defence, Hang said: “We hope that the new US Secretary of Defence will make significant contribution to the Vietnam-US relations, especially in the sphere of national defence.”
Mark Esper was sworn in as US Secretary of Defence after receiving Senate confirmation on July 23, according to foreign media.-VNA
