Local film makers and their counterparts from nine countriesaround the world will take part in an international film festival inVietnam from December 8-12 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The 16 th Vietnamese Film Festival, entitled “For a modern andintegrated Vietnamese film industry,” is open to local film producersand movie makers from Cambodia , China , Finland , Japan , Laos , theRepublic of Korea , Russia , Singapore , and the US .
The festival is a good opportunity for Vietnamese film makers toexchange their experiences and work with their overseas colleagues,according to the Ministry of Information and Communication.
It will also be a pleasure to honour innovative domestic film makersthat have contributed to the nation’s movie industry within the pastyear.
