Prague (VNA) – VTV Go, an online TVservice of Vietnam Television, inaugurated its agency in Prague, the CzechRepublic, at a ceremony on May 16.

Speaking at the ceremony, Pham Anh Chien,head of the VTV Digital, said after the Vietnam Television’s launch of itschannel for external services VTV 4 20 years ago, VTV Go is now a more suitableplatform to bring the image of Vietnam closer to the overseas communities.

Tran Vinh Bac from the Vietnamese Embassyto the Czech Republic and Hoang Dinh Thang, head of the Union of VietnameseAssociations in Europe, both voiced their support to the opening of the firstVTV Go agency in Europe.

They said it will boost connection betweenVietnamese expatriates in the Czech Republic and Europe and their home country.

VTV Go has been in favour of thousands ofVietnamese families in the European country after a short pilot.-VNA
