Hanoi (VNA) – President of the Vietnam FatherlandFront Central Committee Tran Thanh Man visited and presented gifts to HeroicMothers and war invalids in the central city of Da Nang on July 15, on theoccasion of the 70th War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

Man affirmed that the Party and State always pay attentionto caring for families of people who rendered service to the nation, includingHeroic Mothers, martyrs and war invalids.

He asked Da Nang city to do more to support the preferentialpolicy beneficiary families, both materially and spiritually.

On the day, Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister VuongDinh Hue led a working delegation to lay wreaths and offer incense at the RoadNo.9 National Martyrs' Cemetery and Truong Son National Martyrs' Cemetery inthe central province of Quang Tri to commemorate people who laid down theirlives for the national liberation and reunification.

Defence Minister Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich visited and presentedgifts to war invalids and wounded soldiers who are under treatment at the ThuanThanh sanatorium in northern Bac Ninh province.

On this occasion, the Defence Ministry granted an ambulance,104 air conditioners, and one desktop cardiograph worth 1.9 billion VND (83,619USD) to the sanatorium.

The facility is caring for 96 war invalids who have losttheir ability to work.-VNA

Hanoi: 95% of administrative procedures to be handled from home

The plan targets that at least 80% of administrative procedures under the city’s authority will be provided as fully online public services, while more than 95% of applications will be received and processed entirely online. By June 30, 2026, about 80% of administrative procedures are expected to be restructured based on integrated data systems, with the figure rising to 95% by the end of the year.
