Women arrested for trafficking drug through Vietnam-Laos border gate

Luong Thi Trang, a 24 year-old local of Dai Nghia commune, Dai Loc district of Quang Nam province, and Y Thao, a 24-year-old woman of Dak Nong commune, Ngoc Hoi district of Kon Tum province, were found hiding 1kg crystal amphetamine and 367 tablets of meths in their luggage and bodies while passing the Bo Y International Border Gate.
They confessed that they were transporting the drug from Laos to Vietnam for selling.
Currently, authorities are finalising procedures to launch legal proceedings against the two women in line with the law.-VNA
