The Asian country, together with the Republic of Korea, is home to an important pool of top-ranked players.

All the great stars of 3-cushion billiards will be present at this prestigious event, which will prove to be a great challenge for the participants as they compete for the highest world rankings.

Among the Vietnamese competitors are Tran Quyet Chien and Nguyen Quoc Nguyen, who received the organisation's wild cards.

Nearly 150 players representing 17 nations are to compete in this first World Cup tournament.

The matches will be broadcast live on the internet streaming platform Kozoom.com.

The World Cup final is scheduled for August 16.-VNA
