Xuyen Moc district in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province, a formerly pristine land with beautiful beaches and primeval forests, has become an attractive tourist destination over recent years. With the construction of many tourism projects now underway, the district is a new destination of great potential in the southeastern coastal province.

With a favourable geographical location, more than 100 km from Ho Chi Minh City, Xuyen Moc district has become a popular choice for tourists visiting Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.

Beyond its long coastline and diverse terrain, Xuyen Moc also boasts a series of tourism investment projects, making it an ideal destination for tourists to relax, for businesses to organise conferences, and for visitors to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere created by different tourism events held throughout the year.

Boasting coastal ecological diversity associated with primary forests, orchards, and rivers and streams, Xuyen Moc has also created community-based tourism destinations attracting tourists, especially those from abroad, who hope to explore the culture, life, and cuisine of local people.

The number of tourists to Xuyen Moc district last year doubled the figure in 2021, reaching 1.7 million. The Ho Tram area was the most popular destination.

Ba Ria-Vung Tau province recently approved general planning for its coastal areas. Xuyen Moc district’s tourism sector will be a connection axis in the economy to develop other fields in association with the conservation of marine and forest ecosystems and sustainable environmental protection./.
