Vietnam’s resilience, friendliness along with beautiful landscapes and culture will be introduced at the 2021 Vietnam Days in Switzerland programme scheduled to begin on October 9.

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s resilience, friendliness along with beautifullandscapes and culture will be introduced at the 2021 Vietnam Days inSwitzerland programme scheduled to begin on October 9.
The virtual event is among major activitiesmarking the 50th founding anniversary of the Vietnam-Switzerland diplomaticties (October 11).

It comprises five main parts themed “HelloSwitzerland! Hello Europe!” “Original Culture,” “Miracle Vietnam,” “FutureGenerations,” and “See you in Vietnam.”
The“Miracle Vietnam” part is to promote can’t-miss natural landscapes of Vietnamto friends in Switzerland and other European nations at large, with guests sharing their travel experience in Vietnam’sCentral Highlands and northern mountainous regions like Ha Giang, Lao Cai andSon La, as well as historical sites and traditional craft villages in Ninh Binhand Hanoi, and in coastal localities such as Ha Long, Ly Son, Con Dao and PhuQuoc.

Dynamic lifestyle of Vietnamese in the modernsociety and the country’s street food will also be featured at the event.
The programme will be simultaneously held atthe Vietnam Television, the Vietnamese Embassy in Switzerland, and theVietnamese permanent mission to the United Nations (UN), the World TradeOrganisation (WTO) and other international organisations.

Da Nang ready to welcome over 456,000 visitors during Tet holiday

The central beach city of Da Nang is expected to receive over 456,000 visitors, of them more than 221,000 international, during the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday (from January 25 to February 2), a year-on-year rise of 13.5%, according to the municipal Department of Tourism.
