The fund “For the Beloved Truong Sa Archipelago – For Vietnam’s front line” sets a target of mobilising 25 billion VND this year to help soldiers stationed on Truong Sa archipelago.
According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Ho Chi Minh City, o f the total, the municipal level will mobilise 10 billion VND and the district level will raise 15 billion VND.
The entire collected amount will be spent for activities taking care of soldiers on Truong Sa archipelago, contributing to strengthening control over the nation's sea and islands.
It will be also used to implement military rear work, support study and improve education, job introduction and vocational training for demobilised soldiers who have done military service in border areas and islands, especially soldiers ever stationed on Truong Sa archipelago as well as organising visits and presenting gifts to families of those working in the border areas and islands.-VNA
