Hanoi (VNA) – A Vietnam Airlines flight carried 310 Vietnamese citizens home from Germany on December 17-18.
Passengers on board include the elderly, children under 18 years old, students whose curricula are completed, and people in extremely difficult circumstances.
The Vietnamese Consulate General in Frankurt sent staff members to the airport to help the citizens with boarding procedures.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, disease prevention measures were strictly carried out during the flight. Upon landing at Van Don Airport in northern Quang Ninh province, the flight crew and all passengers were given health check-ups and quarantined in line with regulations.
The repatriation of Vietnamese citizens in disadvantaged circumstances abroad will be arranged based on citizens’ wish, the developments of the pandemic and domestic quarantine capacity./.
