Selected from 130 entries sent by 41 provincial and municipal HoChi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) chapters, the winners covered avariety of aspects from socio-economy, health and education to securityand defence.
Among those were the Ho Chi Minh City University ofMedicine and Pharmacy’s research of Doxophylin used in asthma and COPDtreatment, Viettel’s research on development foundation for militaryinformation device using SDR technology, and the natural rubber-basedelectric wire manufacturing project of the Vietnam Rubber Group.
Addressing the honouring ceremony, Nguyen Manh Dung, PermanentSecretary of the HCMCYU Central Committee, said that after ten years ofoperation, the “Innovative Youth” movement has inspired young people’screativeness and promoted their great potential for the nationalindustrialisation and modernisation.
The November 8-9 festival, organised by the committee, drew the participation of about 20,000 visitors, mostly students.-VNA
