Adoptive families of Vietnamese children meet in Denmark

Around 60 Danish families with children adopted from Vietnam have gathered at an annual meeting in Denmark’s city of Copenhagen to share experiences in raising the children.
Around 60 Danish families with children adopted from Vietnam have gathered at an annual meeting in Denmark’s city of Copenhagen to share experiences in raising the children.

Speaking at the August 22 meeting, which also saw the presence of 80 Vietnamese children, Vietnamese ambassador to Denmark Vu Van Luu said the embassy welcomes the adoptive parents and their children to visit any time to enable them to learn more about the children’s land of origin.

The embassy will continue to work with the association of adoptive families of Vietnamese children to hold meetings and other activities to help the families and the children themselves get closer to each other.


According to the association’s statistics, there are around 500 families in Denmark who adopt Vietnamese children./.
